Cookies
In addition to the aforementioned data, NO cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website (except for a status on the cookie/data protection notice you have confirmed). Cookies are small datasets stored on your hard drive associated with the browser you are using. Cookies cannot run programs or transmit viruses to your computer. Web analysis and website optimization
The data processing takes place on the legal basis of the Art. 6 para. 1 (f) (legitimate interest) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR). Our legitimate interest lies in the optimization of our online offering and our website. Since the privacy of our visitors is particularly important to us, the IP address is anonymised at etracker as early as possible and log-in or device identifiers are converted into a unique key, but not assigned to a person. Any other use, merging with other data or a transfer to third parties by etracker does not happen.
You may object to the above-described data processing at any time, provided it is personal. Your disagreement has no adverse consequences for you.
Further features of our website
It is usually possible to use our website without providing personal information. If possible, personal data (for example name, address or email addresses) is always collected on a voluntary basis and you agree that we may contact you via this communication data to answer your enquiry (Art. 6 para. 1 a GDPR). This data will not be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent.
If you send us an email, it will be stored by us until the completion of your enquiry or until expiry of any statutory retention requirements. We make sure that the data is protected from unauthorised third-party access.
We point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. in the case of communication by e-mail, online form, orders in the online shop, etc.) may have security holes. Complete protection of the data from access by third parties is not possible.
When using the NORMTEC online shop, search queries made, shopping carts transferred and all other activities are also saved (Art. 6 para. 1 b GDPR).
